MXene/PANI composite fiber-based asymmetric supercapacitors for self-powered energy storage system

摘要
Fiber-shaped supercapacitors (FSSCs) have attracted tremendous attention for their various potential applications in portable and wearable electronics. However, the low energy density of FSSCs hinders their wide applications in wearable electronics. Herein, we develop an in-situ chemical polymerization method to construct MXene/polyaniline-based asymmetric FSSCs, which delivers an excellent electrochemical performance, including excellent rate capability, high area specific capacitance (510 mF cm-2) and energy density (15.71 mu Wh cm-2). This work provides a new strategy for fabricating high-performance flexible supercapacitors and paves the way for the development of wearable energy storage devices.
