摘要
A supply chain is designed to maintain the quality of sensitive goods throughout their production process. The life cycle of a product requires different organizations, people, activities, information, and resources involved in the processing of a product or service from supply to customer. This paper describes a solution from e-Livestock (a software development company focused on livestock tracking) in collaboration with nChain (a blockchain technology development company), which enables small livestock producers to monitor and control the status of cuttle and collaborate with local regulatory entities. This solution uses the Bitcoin SV Blockchain to provide a tamper- proof and immutable sequential record of events such as vaccinations, asset ownership, and health tracking. Deployed in September 2022, it aims to prevent corruption, fraud, and human error by offering supply chain process improvements, achieving an end- toend traceable model.
