A new tenuipalpid mite species, Cenopalpus taifensis sp. nov. (Acari: Prostigmata: Tenuipalpidae) is described and illustrated based on female and deutonymph specimens collected from Crataegus sinaica Boiss (Rosaceae) in Taif, Saudi Arabia.
