摘要
The integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) within the power sector is becoming increasingly prevalent, both globally and specifically in Vietnam, offering a multitude of benefits and opportunities for growth. As energy demands escalate, the application of IoT technologies in power systems is pivotal for augmenting operational efficiency, ensuring realtime control, and enhancing monitoring capabilities. It facilitates advanced smart connectivity, process automation, and harnesses the power of big data analytics within the electricity sector. Vietnam, grappling with the escalating demands for energy, stands to gain significantly from the adoption of IoT in its power infrastructure. IoT technology can render the Vietnamese power grid more adaptable, efficient, and sustainable. It serves as a foundational infrastructure for the integration of renewable energy resources, optimizes the distribution of electricity, and fortifies the reliability and stability of the entire power system. This is crucial for catering to the burgeoning energy requirements of the nation. This paper underscores the pivotal role and diverse applications of IoT in the operational management, surveillance, and efficiency optimization of the power system in Vietnam.
