摘要
In education, inclusion implies understanding equity as equality of situations and opportunities for pupils both at the beginning and at the end of the education process according to their particularities. Such inclusion should be carried out in all existing curricular areas. Through Physical Education, different skills and values related to inclusion are developed, which can be worked on from a playful point of view through games and sports. Due to the importance of inclusion in the field of education, this study aimed to carry out a bibliometric review of the literature related to the terms "Inclusive education" and "Physical education", by searching for documents published up to 31 December 2022 in the Web of Science database. The results showed an exponential growth of 82% in the number of publications in the last 9 years, with Spain being the country with the highest number of citations and published documents due to its great longevity of research in the field of inclusive education, due to the different studies that have been carried out at the University of Castilla la Mancha. In line with these data, there is a need to implement quality programmes promoting attitudes, knowledge, and skills for those involved in the educational process. Teachers must be equipped with knowledge and tools to develop sessions that fully promote inclusion.
