摘要
The aim of the article is to analyze the objective quality of life of inhabitants in the districts of the Province of Buenos Aires (Argentina), excluding Greater Buenos Aires (GBA), and to explain territorial differentiations with two variables such as the Gross Geographical Product (GGP) per capita (2003) and the annual intercensal growth rate (2001-2010). A quantitative method was applied, based on obtaining indicators from secondary data sources. First, a quality-of-life index was constructed, with indicators in the areas of education and employment, sanitation and housing, communication and connectivity (TICs) and environment. Then, a statistical association was analyzed between the synthetic indicator of quality of life and two indicators: the GGP (2003), of an economic nature, and the annual intercensal growth rate for the period 2001-2010, showing demographic order. The results evidence the presence of territorial inequalities in the quality of life, and the explanatory potential of the independent variables proposed.
