摘要
The article presents the results of studies of spraying multicomponent coal-water slurries with hot air. Coal, water, ethanol, and pyrogenetic liquid were used as fuel components. It has been established that, in comparison with a two-component coal-water fuel, the jet opening angle increases by 14-25%, which significantly increases the jet volume and the ignition zone. The droplets velocity in the jet increases by 9-13% when the air is heated by 50 K; with further heating, the increase in droplets velocity is insignificant (not more than 4%). It has been proved that spraying the studied coal-water slurries with hot air allows reducing the average droplet size in the jet by 7-12% compared to cold spraying (at 293 K).
