摘要
Manganese oxide-carbon composite materials were prepared by impregnation of manganese nitrate solution into a hierarchically meso-microporous zeolite-templated carbon. The manganese component was majorly incorporated within the mesoporous region as encapsulated by an open microporous carbon framework. Analysis of the composite structure by electron microscopy and nitrogen adsorption showed a possibility for mitigating the manganese leaching problem while facile diffusion of the electrolyte ions was allowed through microporous carbon windows built with sp2 frameworks. This analysis was consistent with the enhanced cycling stability of the asymmetric supercapacitor in an aqueous medium.
