摘要
This article is aimed at introducing a novel non-isolated step-down converter with superior advantages including reduced voltage stress on switching, enhanced efficiency as well as reduced number of required components. Improved distribution of voltage among several switches mitigates the stress exerted upon individual switches, thereby inflicting reduced voltage MOSFETS with smaller ON resistance. To show the superiority of the introduced converter over other converters of this kind through comparison, ON-OFF switching operations of two switches are performed under ZVS conditions, and as a result, a reduced switching loss is observed which is a proof for optimised efficiency. Finally, the design formula and simulations of the converter operating modes are discussed.
