摘要
This work discusses the nomenclature, synonymy and typification of two monotypic genera, Chamabainia and Neodistemon which belong to the tribe Boehmerieae and have a restricted range in tropical and subtropical Asia. Lectotypes are designated for names in both genera and their full synonymy is provided. Boehmeria meifenggensis is treated as a new synonym of Chamabainia cuspidata.
