摘要：
The article deals with the confluence of the medical and literary discourses in the Emigrant Jaw (1957) by Vasily Yanovsky. Our primary interests are the reason why the narrative of the protagonist's life in exile is motivated by a visit to the dentist, and the merging of the emigration, medical practice and memory themes in the narrative.
