摘要
The feminine nature and supposed limitations of women were used as a justification for excluding more than half of the human species from decision-making, political participation, the labor market and quality education. Therefore, this article aims to examine the construction of language and concepts related to the feminine and how they are used to explain and justify the marginalization and subjection of the female subject in society. For the development of such an analysis, the book Herland, by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, is chosen as an object of study, which presents us with a utopian society composed only of women and explains how such women would develop and participate in a society that did not exclude them or link them to inferiority.
