摘要
The article addresses the European Artificial Intelligence (AI) Act processed in the Parliament of the European Union. The regulation promotes precautions for the risks associated with AI, while favoring its development. It classifies AI systems into three categories based on the level of risk they present: unacceptable, high, and minor. Unacceptable risk AI systems, such as harmful or discriminatory are prohibited; high risk are subject to more stringent requirements; while low risk systems are not subject to any specific requirements. The law includes provisions to address risks associated with AI, such as security, ethical and discrimination risks. It is an important step in AI regulation in the EU and could have a significant impact on the development and use of AI with potential effects even outside the EU.
