INITIAL TRAINING IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION: WHAT DO TEACHER EDUCATORS THINKAND DO?

摘要
The present article aimed to investigate the conceptions and practices of teacher trainers in a Physical Education teacher education program. The interview was chosen as the methodological procedure for understanding the contributions of the four selected teacher education. The results presented convergences between the teachers' reports and a formative proposal aimed at constructing knowledge and practices aligned with the school environment. In conclusion, it was observed that, despite curricular contradictions, movements towards a school-focused training appeared forcefully in the reports constructed in this research.
