摘要：
Die Empfehlungen zur Statin-Therapie zur Senkung des Risikos fur kardiovaskulare Ereignisse stammen aus Studien, die vor mehreren Jahrzehnten durchgefuhrt wurden. Neuere Daten zur Wirkung der Statine sind begrenzt und es ist unklar, ob der Nutzen der Cholesterinsenkung den Schaden ubersteigt. Nissen et al. untersuchten, ob Bempedoinsaure bei Patienten mit Statin-Intoleranz und hohem kardiovaskularen Risiko kardiovaskulare Ereignisse verringert.
