摘要
Pyranopyrazoles substituted with polar moieties increase the rate of metabolization against various unwanted and new generation microbes. The present article reports the synthesis of 10 potent pyranopyrazole derivatives bearing a carboxylic group to increase the extent of hydrogen bonding for better interaction with microbial proteins. The novel pyranopyrazolylacetic acids were prepared via the direct C-C coupling reaction in an undivided cell with a combination of Mg and Pt electrodes. The structures of the newly synthesized compounds were determined by spectroscopic techniques like H-1 and C-13 NMR, IR, and ESI-MS. All the prepared derivatives showed good to excellent activity against some selected bacterial and fungal strains.
