摘要
Manual methods used in assessing concrete properties often face significant drawbacks due to inherent inaccuracies and human errors regarding measurements and timing. To address this, this study introduces a novel automated camera-based system designed for conducting slump flow measurements, for improving the consistency and accuracy of assessing concrete flowability and its subsequent effect on compressive and flexural strength. By acquiring real-time data and reducing human intervention, it provides accurate tracking of concrete flow dynamics, standardized timings, and reduces error margins, thereby improving test reliability. Moreover, the proposed slump flow approximation function facilitates continuous time-based analysis of fresh concrete flow, potentially improving concrete property prediction.
