摘要
In current times, there is a growing interest in innovation that occupies the central stage of the business world, affecting the orientation of public policies and institutional strategies in varied contexts. To achieve adequate progress in this area, it is essential to have measurement instruments that allow valid inferences to be made about the capacity for innovation in organizational contexts. The present work proposed to adapt to the Argentine context a measure of the capacity for innovation in organizations, the Innovation Phase Assessment Instrument. For this, the following steps were followed: a-Request of two independent translations of the original version, in English, into Spanish; and b-Consultation of nine expert judges on the adequacy of these translations and the relevance-essentiality of the indicators-items considered. Based on the analysis of the judges' evaluation, a reduced version of the instrument was obtained. It is considered that a substantial and indispensable step has been taken, providing initial evidence of the content validity of an instrument built to measure the capacity for innovation in organizations.
