Effect of eco-friendly rosin sealant on wear resistance of Fe-based amorphous coating

摘要
Natural rosin was introduced as the sealing material of Fe-based amorphous coating. The permeability and wear mechanism of rosin sealant were investigated. The research shows that the penetration depth of the sealant reaches more than 150 & mu;m, which effectively seals the pore network inside the coating. Under the sliding friction condition, the rosin sealant in the micro-pore can be released slowly and used as the lubricating medium. After the introduction of natural rosin, the friction volume of the coating decreased from 0.73 mm3 to 0.089 mm3, the degree of adhesive wear and oxidation wear decreases, and the wear resistance of the coating increased significantly.
