摘要
Food labeling can be a highly effective public health tool to promote consumption of healthier foods and to effect positive reformulation by manufacturers. This article summarizes recent efforts by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to update information found on food labels, including making the information more simple, visible, and reflective of current nutritional science.
