摘要
The drum brake is an important component of automobile chassis, which is related to the safety performance and handling performance of automobiles. It is of great significance to optimize the structure design of drum brakes while ensuring that the handling performance and safety performance of drum brakes are unchanged or even improved. Modal analysis and topological optimization of the spiral groove brake drum are carried out by using finite element method. The three-dimensional model and finite element model of the spiral groove brake drum are established. The modal analysis of the spiral groove brake drum is implemented by ANSYS. The first six natural frequencies and modal vibration modes of the spiral groove brake drum are obtained and its topology is optimized. After optimization, the natural frequencies of the spiral groove brake drum are improved, and the frequency range of noise and vibration can be avoided. It provides a theoretical basis for the design and optimization of the spiral groove brake drum.
