摘要
The control of air flow fields generated in the textile manufacturing process is important to fiber motion. With the expansion of textile applications and the challenges brought by carbon emissions, a series of fundamental research has been conducted on the control of various forms of air flow fields in textile processes. This paper reviews the research on air flow fields and fiber motion in textile processes over the past few decades, focusing on both experimental and numerical studies. The air flow field characteristics, fiber motion patterns, and corresponding control methods for vortex, jet and shear flow fields in the textile process are summarized. The results show that the air flow field and fiber motion are major factors affecting textile structure. These fundamental studies are of great significance in improving product quality, reducing energy consumption, and exploring novel applications.
