18F-FDG PET/CT image of pericardial inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor

摘要
Pericardial inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is very rare. Herein, we report fluorine-18-fluorodeoxyglucose ( F-FDG) positron emission to- 18 mography/computed tomography (PET/CT) findingsof pericardial IMT in a 57-year-old woman. On conventional image, it presented as a pericardial mass with heterogeneous delay enhancement. On F-FDG PET/CT image, this lesion had mild F-FDG uptake with a maximum standardized uptake 18 18 value (SUVmax) of 1.84. The postoperative pathology supported a diagnosis of IMT. Ourcase hints us that IMT should be regarded as a differential di- agnosiswhen we meeta solitary pericardial mass with F-FDG uptake. 18
