IMPACT OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES IN THE TEACHING-LEARNING PROCESS IN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

摘要
This study aimed to establish the impact of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the teaching-learning process in students of a private university in Huancayo, Peru. The study was developed under the quantitative approach, non-experimental design, basic type and explanatory level. The census population of the study was made up of 132 students from a private university in Huancayo, Peru, from the Industrial Engineering degree who took the Strategic and Digital Marketing subject, in the eighth, ninth and tenth cycles. The data collection technique was the survey and the instrument the questionnaire, validated by expert judgment and its reliability was determined with the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient. The results indicate that in the ICT variable, the moderate level prevailed with 65.15% (86), while in the teaching-learning process the moderate level prevailed with 58.33% (77). It is concluded that it was possible to establish the impact of information and communication technologies in the teaching-learning process in students of a private university in Huancayo, Peru; the p-value = 0.020, confirmed the alternative hypothesis raised, likewise, the coefficient R2 = 0.094, corresponds to a low significant impact.
