摘要
Conversion and degradation of semi -natural habitats threatens the supply of ecosystem benefits. In a quantitative meta study, Mohammed et al. estimate that at least similar to 20%-25% of the semi -natural habitat in humanmodified landscapes needs conserving or restoring to provide such benefits. Is such a target achievable? Yes, but not without careful consideration of local contexts.
