What is History for University Students? Dialogues between History teaching and higher education

摘要
The main problem of the article is the discussion about the concept of History with higher education students, based on a question asked in the Introduction to History class: "What is History for you?" Thus, we analyzed the written narratives produced by these undergraduate students of the Archivology course in the first moment of the semester and later compared, through content analysis, the final activity developed by them in the AVA (Virtual Learning Environment). Therefore, our interest is to demonstrate how the teaching of History is relevant in the training of these professionals and the path of historical awareness traversed from the readings suggested in the lesson plan and also used here as a reference.
