摘要
ABSTR ACT The use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) is becoming increasingly important in infrastructure planning. For example, public clients are more and more frequently de-manding the use of BIM methods for planning services. Howe-ver, there is still a lack of standards and specifications in infra-structure planning. Nevertheless, there is great interest in the BIM methodology among infrastructure engineering firms - not least to remain competitive. In this paper, the most crucial driving factors and the greatest obstacles to the implementati-on of the BIM method in infrastructure planning are analyzed using guided expert interviews. In addition, it examines the added values that arise after the implementation of the BIM method in infrastructure projects and the influence of the BIM method on the various service phases. For example, enginee-ring firms gain particular added value when the plans can be derived from the model, the models are parameterized or eco-nomies of scale arise, which manifests itself in the reproducibi-lity of BIM models. The results of the survey also provided ini-tial recommendations for action.
