摘要
This case study aims to calculate the carbon emissions of the Engineering Faculty selected as the pilot region of the university, which has a significant social impact. The emissions from electricity, heating, transportation, and waste generation were measured to determine the total emissions. Primary and secondary data were collected through survey studies. The study found that electricity was the highest contributor to carbon emissions at 59%, followed by transportation at 22%, heating at 18%, and waste generation at 1%. The total CO2 emitted from these sources in a year was 2,476.7 MTCO(2)e, which is equivalent to 0.52 MTCO(2)e per person per year. These findings provide an example of implementing green campus initiatives and improving the university's ranking in sustainability assessments.
