摘要
Gamma transitions in Xe-131 have been studied in the relatively long lived beta decay of I-131 using well calibrated large volume High Purity Germanium (HPGe) gamma spectroscopy system and a high transmission Mini-Orange electron transporter. Relative gamma and conversion electron intensities are used to determine internal conversion coefficients, for multipolarity assignments of gamma transitions and multipole mixing ratios and B(E2) values for most of the transitions in Xe-131 with good precision. Most of the data on conversion coefficients are being reported for the first time.
