摘要
Floating hybrid energy generation system has a pivotal role in developing offshore renewable energy. In this paper, a novel concept of a floating wind-wave combined power generation system is proposed, which is referred to as the 'DBSC' (DeepCwind-Wavebob-Wavestar Combination) system herein. This concept is composed of a DeepCwind floating offshore wind turbine and two types of wave energy converters. A fully coupled model is developed to solve the coupled system. Via comparing the motion response and dynamic response, such a concept manifests excellent stability and power generation capacity, including enhanced pitch performance, and contributed extra wave power generation without affecting the wind power generation and dynamic response of the wind turbine, all of which are better than those of the DeepCwind wind turbine and two typical wind-wave combined power generation systems. Further discussion indicates that the combination of different types of wave energy converters can be more effective in suppressing the motion response while increasing the total wave energy generation. Optimal design of floating wind-wave combined energy system can be carried out by drawing on structural control methods. These investigations provide new insights into the integrated development of offshore renewable energy sources.
