'The Absolute' in Hegel's Science of Logic

Considering the readings that minimize the logic-genetic meaning of the essential absolute in the Science of Logic, this study tries to demonstrate that this category serves a decisive purpose in the logical process course. The main thesis of this study will show that the essential absolute allows a systematic connection between the objective and subjective logic, because it guarantees the continuity of the genetic movement between one logic and another, and establishes the necessary reflexive assumption to formulate an absolute subjectivity theory. The argument will be put forward by analyzing thoroughly a chapter of the doctrine of essence from a hermeneutic approach, in order to clarify the categorical content of the concept aforementioned.
