摘要
This paper investigates the reuse of trommel fines generated from construction, demolition and excavation waste to produce Compressed Trommel Fines Blocks (CTFBs). Four mix designs investigated the influence of 0 - 15% cement stabilisation on the mechanical properties, durability characteristics and chemical composition of CTFBs. The compressive and flexural strength ranged from 1.49 - 10.1 MPa and 0.23 - 1.82 MPa respectively, with the highest values achieved at 15% cement content. The incorporation of 10 - 15% cement was found to significantly improve the durability of CTFBs. Chemical analyses provided evidence of cement hydration and gave insight into leaching behaviour of potentially toxic elements.
