摘要
Migrations are part of human movements since Humanity recognises itself as such. Regardless the proximity with the problematic of migrations, as refugees, migrants and immigrants struggle for basic living conditions, it seems easy to consider that the media offer visions that are important to know and problematize. This is the generic purpose of this article, which analysed how, in 2022, the main online newspapers in Portugal, Spain, Brazil and Argentina portrayed refugee migrations in the most diverse journalistic spaces. From a sample of 232 news items, it was concluded that the majority of the contents are perspective in the "International" editorship (54.7%), however predominate approaches on the integration of refugees in society and the participation of countries in the media stage on these issues. More-over, there are no significant differences between countries, only nuances, as the global results indicate a prevalence of news that approach refugees from a negative perspective, in 40.09%.
