摘要
A multi-scale finite element method was proposed to study the residual stress on the machined surface of SiCp/6061Al composites, and the influences of vibration amplitude and vibration frequency on the relief of the transverse and longitudinal residual stresses were investigated and verified against existing literature data. The results show that the vibration frequency is the key to stress relief, and the reduction effect of residual stress is the most significant when the vibration frequency is 1000 Hz. At the frequency of 1000 Hz, the residual stress reduction effect is better at the vibration amplitude of 0.01 mm than at other amplitudes. Under the action of the exciting force, the variation law of residual stress on the macroscopic and microscopic scales is consistent, and the variation on the microscopic scale is more obvious. The purpose of this study is to eliminate or relieve the residual stress of the workpiece, which can be used to better understand the mechanism of vibration stress relief (VSR) and optimize the parameter of the VSR process.
