摘要
Wave energy converter devices are devices that are responsible for transforming the energy from sea waves into electrical energy. Power take-off systems are characterized by taking the mechanical energy obtained through the wave energy converter and facilitating its conversion to electrical energy. In this work, initially, a search and evaluation of the oscillating wave energy converter devices and power take-off available in the literature was carried out to identify their advantages and disadvantages in order to select the most suitable systems for the use of the wave energy resource of Colombia. The selected systems correspond to wave energy converters devices coupled to structures fixed to the coast and power take-off with direct mechanical connection because these have greater advantages in terms of their manufacturing process, set-up, operation and maintenance. Finally, a flowchart of the design process of these systems is presented.
