摘要
Cybersecurity of ships, ports and other offshore facilities is becoming an increasing concern for the maritime industry worldwide. At the international level, a number of guidelines have been adopted, in particular by imo to mitigate maritime cybersecurity risks. In Southeast Asia, despite the importance of the regional shipping industry, the level of awareness about cyber-threats in its maritime sector seems to be quite low. Except Singapore, other Southeast Asian nations have yet to undertake a sectorspecific approach to address maritime cybersecurity threats. This article suggests actions to be undertaken by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations to improve maritime cybersecurity in the region.
