摘要
This study used mixed methods to explore the local peoples' perceptions of the ecological services provided by the Lake Bosomtwe. Targeting household heads, traditional leaders, and assembly members, it uses simple random sampling to survey 309 households and conducts 14 focus group discussions in seven communities. Findings indicate a good local understanding of the lake's ecological services, with provisioning services, particularly freshwater and fish, being highly valued. The study emphasizes the significance of air quality control within regulatory services. The study concluded that the lake provides vital ecological services that sustain the livelihoods of the local community.
