COPD and type 2 diabetes: do antidiabetic drugs reduce acute exacerbations?

摘要：
Viele Menschen mit Diabetes Typ 2 leiden an weiteren Komorbiditaten, wie beispielsweise einer chronisch obstruktiven Lungenerkrankung (COPD). Da die Diabeteserkrankung regelhaft medikamentos behandelt wird, ergibt sich die Frage nach positiven Effekten neuer Antidiabetika auf Haufigkeit und Schwere von Exazerbationen der Lungenerkrankung. Pradhan et al. haben hier angesetzt und stellen nun ihre populationsbasierte Kohortenstudie zum Thema vor.
