Theory of Constitutional Reasoning: new Contributions on Virtual Deliberations of Constitutional Courts in the Digital Age

Written in honor of Manuel Atienza, on the occasion of his retirement as Professor of Philosophy of Law at the University of Alicante (in 2022), the article recalls the construction of the Theory of Constitutional Reasoning at that Spanish university, then addresses the main models of deliberation identified in constitutional courts by this theory in comparative law, and reveals the current institutional transformations verified in these models by the introduction of new technologies for the practice of virtual deliberations.
