Every era had its own technological developments. Innovative technologies, however, have always necessitated new skills and abilities, attitudes that enable people to be capable of managing them. However, not everyone reacts, has the adequate means to react with the same speed and openness to the newest developments. That is why, though the purpose of new technologies may be to improve people's quality of life and the well-being on a society level, at the same time, they might decrease equal opportunities, widen, deepen social, as well as generational disparities. The present paper endeavours to analyse, how current technological developments have influenced the lives of people in the 21st century, and whether we are ready to utilise these advanced tools and systems or are more afraid to be a part of the ongoing industrial revolutions. With the help of a quantitative research, technology perception of young people has been analysed. At the end of the paper, potential coping strategies are introduced and other potential solutions are suggested that can make the life of people easier, when it comes to handling difficulties related to advanced technologies.
