摘要
The digital change requires the manufacturing industr y to adapt dynamically and flexibly to constantly changing market situations. Companies have long since ceased to rely solely on individual solutions to counteract more individual customer needs, increasing cost pressure, and growing international competition. An emerging form of collaboration is inter- organizational resource sharing and networking, which protects manufacturers from production losses by trading manufacturing capacities on a marketplace. This study investigates the opportunities and threats of collaboration on a marketplace for sharing additive manufacturing capacities based on a risk management process. First, we identify operational, technical, and network risks. Based on expert interviews, we can evaluate the diagnosed risks and conclude the actual competitive advantage for a manufacturing company through inter-organizational networking.
