摘要
We introduce COMPOSTI a software package to COMpute the POsterior from Seismograms using Trans-dimensional Inversion. COMPOSTI is intended to facilitate the adoption of fully probabilistic seismic inversion, and can be modified to suit a range of cases from near-surface to large scale inversions. COMPOSTI models 3D elastic wave propagation from point sources, assuming a layer model where the subsurface properties only change with depth. Trans-dimensional inversion is carried out using a parallel-tempered reversible jump Markov chain Monte Carlo algorithm.(c) 2022 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.
