We intend to present results of a line of research that begins with the understanding of the Feminine condition in the Tachirense woman (2000) and the construction of the epistemological foundations of the construction of decolonial subjectivities in the history of women. It is a study in which the midwife's mental scaffolding is decanted from her founding roots, from Muisca ancestry and the heritage of the cultures that macerated the mentality of femininity; especially, in background of educational values, human rights, motherhood and deconstruction of the patriarchal paradigm. It is a biblio-hemerographic and historiographic documentary study, in documentary sources from the Boyacense History Archive, the La Grita Historical Archive and documentary sources from the Boyacense Academy of History. It is concluded that the midwife mentality has an indigenous, Spanish, Ottoman, Judeo-Christian ancestral heritage, in addition to Latin American cultural nationalism.
