摘要
The generation of BMC requires a bit more technical expertise and time to obtain the BMA compared to obtaining blood to generate PRP, but otherwise the equipment required to generate either biologic is similar. However, the presence of MSC, IL-1RA, and increased anabolic growth factors in BMC compared to PRP should also be considered when choosing the optimal biologic for the patient. Clinical application of BMC should be considered for enhanced cartilage defect repair, alleviation of symptomatic osteoarthritis, bone regeneration particularly in cystic lesions, and suspensory desmitis.
