摘要
We read with great interest the recent study conducted by Xu et al1. In this study, the authors investigated the correlation of programmed death ligand-1 (PD-L1) expression with metabolic parameters measured by F-18-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission computed tomography (F-18-FDG PET/CT) and its prognostic value in patients with surgically resected non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The results of this study1 found that in NSCLC patients, the maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax) measured by F-18-FDG PET/CT was a predictor of PD-L1 expression, and both PD-L1 and TLG were prognostic factors for the prognosis of NSCLC patient. Undoubtedly, the novel findings of this study help to further refine the risk stratification of NSCLC patients. However, after reading this article carefully, we would like to share the following points.
