摘要
The ethnic affirmative action policy has a great edu-cational influence in higher education. These poli-cies seek to guarantee equal access to higher edu-cation for ethnic groups that have historically been marginalized and discriminated against, such as the black and indigenous population. Through these policies, it seeks to promote diversity in educational institutions and foster an inclusive environment for all students. In addition, ethnic affirmative actions can contribute to improving the quality of education, as they allow talented and motivated students who would not otherwise have access to higher educa-tion to develop their potential and contribute to so-ciety in a meaningful way. Experience has shown the need to include intercultural association groups in all educational systems, to strengthen coexistence and improve the rate of permanence of indigenous stu-dents in the university. In this regard, an investigative analysis of the application of affirmative actions in educational systems was developed with the objecti-ve of knowing if the State's objective of guaranteeing conditions of equality and equity has been fulfilled.
