摘要
In this study, the effect of dust, which is one of the environmental factors affecting photovoltaic (PV) panels, was investigated in a laboratory environment. The effect of marble dust on PV panel efficiency, both in weight and size, was investigated. Marble powder was classified in eight different powder particle sizes ranging from 35 mu m to 2 mm, and each marble powder size was used separately in 3 different weights as 5 gr, 10 gr and 15 gr. Experiments were carried out on monocrystalline and polycrystalline panels under Standard Test Conditions (STC - Irradiation: 1000 W/m2; Cell temperature: 25 degrees C; Solar spectrum: AM 1.5). The electrical performance parameters on the power loss (current, voltage and power) of the marble powders of different weights and sizes in the PV panel were measured and evaluated. The data obtained from the experimental results were analyzed by the support vector machines (SVM) method. In the SVM results, Cubic SVM for monocrystalline and Fine Gaussian SVM methods for polycrystalline are presented more successful estimations. (c) 2022 The Author(s). Published by Elsevier Ltd.
