Contribution of the Order Caballero de la Luz at the José de la Luz y Caballero reception in Cuba

The article is aimed at revealing the contribution of the Order Caballero de la Luz to the reception of the legacy of Luz in Cuba. The research was based on the analysis of various documentary sources, such as: meeting records, regulations, circulars, serial publications (journals and newspapers) and photos. The systematization of the information obtained allowed to offer a systematic and comprehensive study on the subject, which is the first of its kind. Among the most used means are: the commemoration of significant dates, the execution of commemorative constructions, leaving floral offerings; as well as the sponsorship of: historical-literary contests, publications, lectures and conferences.
