摘要
Cultural studies include different disciplinary areas of the Humanities and Social Sciences. Investigations on cultural practices indicate reflections on the modes of human sociability, sociocultural development and the daily life of territories. With this text, we aimed to discuss the conceptual field of peripheral cultural practices and youth through a systematic review of scientific literature. Methodologically, a Systematic Literature Review was developed in the CAPES Scientific Journal Platform, with a range from 2011 to 2020. The databases accessed are: OneFile (GALE); Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ); Scopus (Elsevier); Scielo; Sociological Abstracts; Web Of Science. The listed search strategy retrieved 1099 studies, of which 12 were included for synthesis analysis. We adopted PRISMA -Main Items for Reporting Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses as the writing guide in this systematic review. As a result and discussion, the manuscripts fall within the field of cultural studies and present different epistemological, theoretical, and methodological perspectives on peripheral cultural practices. The periphery is a semiotic and critical category that extrapolates a geographical and borderline view of the center-periphery axis. From the analytical synthesis, the periphery is situated as a territory of artistic polyphonies of ways of life. The peripheral cultural practices, besides their construction of meanings in social relations, are possibilities of experimentations and affectivities that institute an aesthetic -ethical-political ethos of subjective implication of each subject that lives there and is interpellated.
