摘要
The Micro and Small Business makes up an important sphere to Brazil and the State of Tocantins economy, your contribution at the Brut Internal Product and the number jobs created. This way, the general objective to this research is to analyze the main causes that brings Micro and Small Business to failure. This is a bibliographic and documental research, being described as a qualitative nature. The results to the bibliographic and documentary research shows evidence that facts like the high tax burden, lack of working capital, lack of qualified labor, competition, lack of customers, lack of planning, training and management, were demonstrated as primordial facts to the ending of these companies. In this case, it's possible to construe that the facts involving the bankrupt of the companies are related to the entrepreneur's behaviors and abilities, having an influence on the company's performance which leads to its death or survival.
